NAEPC Webinar: Estate Planning Through an Asset Protection Lens - It's Not Just Self-Settled Trusts

Date: Wednesday, August 9, 2017
Time: 3:00pm - 4:00pm ET
Location: Webinar
Speaker: Gideon Rothschild, JD, CPA, AEP® (Distinguished)

With estate taxes impacting fewer clients, estate planners need to consider asset protection as integral to the estate planning process and tailor appropriate strategies to each client’s individual situation. Many new developments among the states offer unique strategies in addition to self-settled trusts, including inter vivos QTIP trusts, reciprocal (but not reciprocal) trusts, and third party discretionary trusts. As will be seen in this intermediate/advanced webinar, one size does not fit all.

Gideon Rothschild is a partner with the New York City law firm of MOSES & SINGER LLP, where he co-chairs the Trusts & Estates and Wealth Preservation Group.  He focuses his practice in the areas of domestic and international estate planning techniques for high net worth clients and is a nationally recognized authority on wealth preservation and offshore trusts. Mr. Rothschild is a past Chair of the Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association, a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and Academician of The International Academy of Trust and Estate Lawyers.

NAEPC understands that councils want and need compelling virtual programming options to supplement their regular calendar of events. To accommodate this need, NAEPC is offering affiliated councils on-demand* access to any four webinars for a reduced cost of $400. Choose the "Pro-Rated Group Gathering" option on the online registration form and we will contact you promptly for your selections and to provide the program links and accompanying materials.

Councils that wish to offer continuing education credit must become the provider with their state and/or governing body.

Please allow up to three business days after the live webinar to receive the link to the recorded program.
